Australia – GlobalConnect Australia,
an Avaya Business Partner and leading convergence/contact
centre solutions provider, today announced the appointment
of Grant Howe as National Sales Manager based in Sydney
Howe joins GlobalConnect Australia with 20 years’
experience in sales management having successfully
executed multiple channel programs that significantly
increased sales. He is responsible for leading the
GlobalConnect Australia sales team and executing on
the company’s penetration into enterprise and government
with its integrated suite of IP applications.
Most recently, Howe was Director of Business Development
for Avaya South Pacific. During his seven years with
the organisation, Howe managed the company’s business
development team, strategic vendor relationships and
executed on delivering business opportunities within
the region’s largest enterprises.
In his previous role as Channel Director for Avaya South
Pacific, Howe oversaw channel development and recruitment
devising marketing, training and certification strategies
for the organisation’s Business Partner community.
Howe joined Avaya from Phoneware Communications where he
was an Account Manager responsible for managing the
organisation’s voice messaging clients. Previously,
he spent eight years with New Zealand business automation
reseller, Copy Corporation, as Managing Director.

importance of channel relationships, sales and converged
IP communications and I am excited he will be putting
it to practise across our entire sales team,” said
