Avaya Appoints Mark Preece as Avaya Global Services Sales Manager

AUSTRALIA – Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of business communications software, systems and services, today announced the appointment of Mark Preece as Sales Manager for Avaya Global Services.

In his new role, Preece will be responsible for researching potential new business relationships and opportunities with new clients, with a primary focus on Services.

With expertise in multi-vendor, multi-location and multi-technology networks, Avaya offers one of the industry’s most comprehensive portfolios of solutions and services encompassing voice, data, IP Telephony, Contact Centre, Messaging, and Unified Communication solutions.

Preece joins Avaya from NEC Business Solutions where he was the dedicated Strategic Account Manager/Business Development Manager.

Prior to NEC, Preece was Business Development Manager for KPMG Consulting, Australian Electronic Manufacturing Services and Hartec Limited. He also has a strong financial background and has held senior positions including Financial Controller/Company Secretary in previous roles.
